Apollo opens diabetic centre in Malaysia

Apollo health and lifestyle the Apollo Hospital Company has planned to collaborate with Ramasay Sine Derby healthcare to start a diabetic care centre in Malaysia. Both the companies are market leader in diabetic care in their respective countries and plan to open and promote more centers in South East Asia. The joint venture plans to involve communities to promote efficient diabetics screening and care to local audience at affordable prices. Both the companies are committed to improve the awareness of diabetics among citizens of Malaysia.

In a statement issued by Dato Dr Jacob Thomas, chairman, Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care, said that “We will begin this collaboration with a state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence to be set up in Subang Jaya Medical Centre.”

The financial and asset sharing details of the deal are yet to be received.
